Honeywood Business Mentorship
Learn from experience. Build your business with intention.
Why Honeywood Business Mentoring?
Starting and running a garden design business can be rewarding, creative, and deeply fulfilling, but there is a lot to navigate along the way.
I know because I've done it.
With more than 20 years of gardening and design experience, and over five years experience building and running Honeywood Garden Design, I've learned what it takes to turn a passion into a real, sustainable business. I've also learned plenty through trial and error—what works, what doesn't, what I would do differently, and where I wish someone had simply told me the answer.
That is what this mentorship is about.
Business mentorship allows the space to talk honestly and practically about building a garden design or landscape-related business. Rather than offering a prescribed formula or generic business advice, we'll focus on your business, your goals, your questions, and the specific challenges you're trying to solve.
You'll have the opportunity to ask the questions you might not know who else to ask and get answers grounded in real-world experience.
Mentorship Options
-
A two-hour session focused entirely on you and your business.
Before we meet, you'll complete a short questionnaire so I can understand where you are, what you're working toward, and what you'd most like to accomplish.
Our time together can be used to work through specific questions or explore several areas of your business. Following our session, you'll receive a brief summary of key takeaways and recommended next steps.
-
A 90-minute session for established or emerging business owners who have specific questions, challenges, or decisions they would like to work through.
This is a good option if you don't need a full two-hour session but want more than a quick conversation.
-
For those looking for more ongoing support, this package includes three 90-minute sessions that can be scheduled over an agreed-upon period.
Sessions can be structured around your priorities and may include business positioning, pricing, client processes, marketing, operations, or other areas of your business.

Business Mentorship is available October–February and takes place in person at a coffee shop or similar public location in close proximity to me. I do not meet at private residences.
This seasonal offering allows me to dedicate the time and attention needed to provide thoughtful, personalized mentorship while keeping my focus on garden design and installations during the growing season.
